Adventures or Misadventures---No matter. We're holding-on tight & riding the wind!

"...if ye should serve him who has created you from the beginning, and is preserving you from day to day, by lending you breath, that ye may live and move and do according to your own will, and even supporting you from one moment to another—I say, if ye should serve him with all your whole souls yet ye would be unprofitable servants. ...All that he requires of you is to keep his commandments; and he has promised you that if ye would keep his commandments ye should prosper in the land..." ---Mosiah 2:21-22

New Year's Eve came... and went.

There was a regional youth dance,
where games were played,
songs were danced to,
boys were flirted with,
and New Years kisses were given,
as well as received.

...And a dad rightfully panicked,
while a certain daughter gleefully laughed at her dad's folly
(as they were Hershey's New Years kisses, you see).

A delightful movie was enjoyed;
"New Year's Eve" (directed by Garry Marshall).
It was full of constant laughs, giggles, tears, families, goodness and mostly hope....
oh yeah, and Bon Jovi!

A romantic New Year's kiss went down at the stroke of midnight
(don't stress as it was between mom & dad, and not a certain daughter).

Today we're recovering from sore throats & lost voices, but we're together.
So that's a great way to start!

...To 2011, all I can say is, GOOD RIDDANCE!

...To 2012... Hullo Nurse!  WELCOME.  WE CAN USE ALL THE GOODNESS & PROMISE YOU'VE GOT IN STORE!

Happy New Year to all of our dear ones!
::hugs::

  3. D is so stinking cute! How are you keeping up wit her?
    Cute that she was passing out kisses. Glad you got some serious smoochies.

    I sorta felt that way about 2009. Burned my calendar and everything from that year. I hope and pray that 2012 is bright and perfect for you and that you have the strength to handle it well.
    Carpe Diem!
