Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles was invited to guest-blog over at patheos.com and I've got to say I'm giddy over it!
Not only because it's a great topic he addresses, as part of a series regarding the future of Mormonism, but also because this may possibly be the first blog post from an apostle!
I don't want that to sound superficial, but it's cool to have an Apostle speaking to us through this medium as well. We were encouraged to dialogue more through the internet in 2007 by Elder M. Russell Ballard. Heck that's another reason a lot of us even feel comfortable enough to be here in the blogosphere; and more so to stop lurking, open our mouths & put it all out there to boot!
So, to be out here doing our thing, and then to have an Apostle of the Lord join our ranks (if even for just one post), kinda validates what we're doing out here and acknowledges our efforts a little more. Awesome!
So, if you didn't already feel like one of the cool kids for being a blogger, then you definitely should NOW! (:
But again, his post rocks! All about tolerance & cooperation in the huge community of religion. Check it here. So rad!
