Grateful for...

  • feline critters that bring us joy.
  • canine critters that bring us joy.
  • feathered critters that bring us joy.
...all creatures great and small!  (Each are blessings & fulfill the measure for which they were created.  Though I may not be the biggest fan of coyotes, mice, spiders & snakes, they do, however, fulfill the need only they can meet in Heavenly Father's great plan.  For that I am grateful... especially since Heavenly Father has granted  us here on the Ranch the privilege & blessings of our domesticated critters, plus all of the wildlife, such as deer & jack rabbits, that cross our land & enrich our lives.  His plan is a beautiful plan, our stewardships were thoughtfully mapped out for us according to our needs, talents, & abilities.  Perfection in every detail!  Just think, how much better we are promised that things will become someday.  I love what we have already, I can't fathom what other beauty awaits us!)

(Looks like a great place for a nap.... have I mentioned that Tuffy also likes to either climb into the shower to chase water drops as they run down the curtain, or sit on the edge of the tub and soak the bottom half of his tail in the tub with me?  What a card!)
(No matter who's packing or for where, Tuffy never likes to be left behind!)
"All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all..."
(by Cecil Frances Alexander, Children's Songbook of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, pg 231.)

(What good little hens, doing what they do so very well!)
"And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
¶And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
¶And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
¶And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so."

(Hula + Sullivan = Mortal Enemies... unless its naptime & Mom's ripped the back couch cushions out for cleaning!)
"All creatures of our God and King
Lift up your voice and with us sing,

Alleluia! Alleluia!
Thou burning sun with golden beam,
Thou silver moon with softer gleam!

O praise Him! O praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

...Let all things their Creator bless,
And worship Him in humbleness,
O praise Him! Alleluia!

Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son,
And praise the Spirit, Three in One!

O praise Him!  O praise Him!
Alleluia!  Alleluia!  Alleluia!"
(verses 1 & 7.  By Francis of Assisi circa 1225)
