Grateful for...

  • safety... from the freezing temperatures, weather extremes & natural disasters.
  • safety... from the dangerous people of the world who enjoy bringing harm to others.
  • safety... especially from the pack of coyotes agressively howling & yipping just a few hundred yards from my home tonight.
...safety... spiritually-speaking, thanks to personal vigilance & my close relationship with my Heavenly Father, through prayer and the Holy Spirit.

"Love. Healing. Help. Hope. The power of Christ to counter all troubles in all times—including the end of times. That is the safe harbor God wants for us in personal or public days of despair..."
~ Elder Jeffrey R. Holland,
("Safety for the Soul," Ensign, November 2009.)

I'm loving your gratitude posts.
I need to think more along this line.

Coyotes? Yikes. Get Rodney in the house quick!

Alaska might be having the storm of the year....but you should be glad you aren't here anymore. Stinkin' cold right now.

Love and hug your guts!
