I've been under the weather, and then Mini-Me came home early from school yesterday as her body has given in to the germies attacking her immune system too. Last night was a bit scary as I spent most of it trying to get her temperature down from between 101 & 103 fahrenheit. Oi Vey!
Today she's between 99 & 100, so that's better as we focus on her cough & cold symptoms. Hopefully it's all going to be a matter of looking up from here....especially so she feels good enough to rock her punk fairy costume she's been plotting for a while now.
Too bad this'll be the second year in a row that we've been struck with illness just before Halloween! Breaks my Halloween-lovin' heart....but then again, so does not having a reason to paint the Great Pumpkin in a picture window, or to prep our deck for Trick or Treaters.
That's just about the only downfall to a rural life.
Anyhow, ya'll have a fabulous Halloween weekend. I'm off to the trenches again!
